Inclusion Hub
With a child centered approach, The Inclusion Hub work together, to meet the identified needs of all vulnerable pupils, within the school.
Priorities include:
- Safeguarding
- Liaison between Home and School – encouraging positive parenting via building blocks and family learning
- Attendance and punctuality monitoring and support
- Assessment of learners’ additional needs
- Advising teaching staff on how to best support pupils with additional needs including behaviour strategies
- Providing intervention to support additional needs this may include: Communication and interaction, Cognition and learning, Social, mental and emotional health, Sensory and/or physical needs, in collaboration with outside agencies where needed
- Coordinating Inclusion Assistants, to ensure that all pupils succeed
- Liaison with outside agencies to consider and implement support for academic, social and emotional needs
- Identification of, and support for Young Carers
- Bereavement and loss support, emotional coaching, mindfulness and relaxation techniques
- Completion of SEND and behaviour action plans
- Coaching and mentoring vulnerable pupils
- Co-ordinating Priory Pals (Play, Advice, Leadership and Safety) and Police Cadets
- Analysis of the impact of intervention
- Academic and anecdotal tracking of all individual vulnerable pupils
- Reporting to stakeholders
- Completion of Health and Safety plans for individual pupils
- Completion of Health Care Plans for individual pupils
- Providing opportunities for staff to be trained to supervise pupil who may have additional temporary/long term medical needs
- To liaise with the medical staff in school, with regard to medication etc.
