Ellie’s Fund Recycling Project

As part of a joint RRS Squad and Eco Council project, we are launching a new initiative to support Ellie’s Fund, which provides funding for BTRS, the Brain Tumour Research and Support group. Beginning on Fun Day, we will be collecting: contact lenses, cleaning product tops, writing instruments and oral products and packaging.
If pupils could collect their recycling in bread bags, then this also opens a further waste stream. The money raised by the collection of these items will be donated to Ellie’s fund. Please bring along any donations on Fun Day. From then on, the boxes will be available in school to collect additional items. Full details of the collections have been displayed in each classroom.
