Dahl Day Dress Up Delivers Dose of Fun

On Friday 13th September, Year 5 and 6 dressed up and delumptiously Dahlified themselves to celebrate Roald Dahl day. The characters ranged from a terrifying Trunchbull (Mrs Poole) to a tangerine Oompa Loompa or two (Mrs Harold, Ella Stone).
The children listened in to a Dahl broadcast and enjoyed brilliant Dahl topics to fill their day with fun and frolics (not to mention chocolate!).
“It was brilliant, magnificent!” commented an excitable Billy Mountford, 6C. “Delumtpious,” added Harriet Groves, who had clearly been working on her gobblefunks.
