Dr Luke finds some clues
Some questions to think about

· Play the game together we enjoyed in this week’s Worship: Pretend to be someone, and give clues as to who you are. See if the person with you can guess your identity.

· Isaiah (who lived in about 700BC) spoke of an amazing man who would be born in the future who would: have good news, comfort all those who are sad, give sight to the blind, and rescue people who felt trapped.

· Can you remember who stood up and said, “This is me!”?
· How do you feel about getting to know a person like this?

What Christians believe – some pointers for families

· Jesus was not suddenly born without warning. His identity, character and birth had been predicted and looked forward to for hundreds of years.
· Isaiah was a godly man who spoke very accurately about what Jesus would be like.
· Luke in his biography of Jesus is keen to show us that Jesus is exactly the person they have been waiting for.
