Year 4 Divas ‘Head Off’ To Dewa

OFF

On Friday 27th September, as part of their topic ‘Why Did the Romans Invade Britain?’, Year 4 packed up their Roman armour and headed off to Chester: a city with great Roman roots.

As part of their day, they dressed up as soldiers and marched through the city centre with chants of “Sin, sin, sin, dex, sin!” echoing alarmingly off the Roman ruins. The day was highlighted by the defeat of Mrs Derbyshire who, after being defeated in a gladiatorial battle of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ was ‘beheaded’ by our Roman centurion, Walkus Crispus.
